Higher Deposit Insurance Limits Approved
On May 20, 2009 legislation was signer into law that extended the deposit insurance coverage of $250,000 until the end of 2013.  In October of 2008 a temporary increase from $100,000 to $250,000 per member was put into place by the NCUA.  The bill signed by the President extends this increase for four more years.  IRA accounts were and will remain covered at the $250,000 levels.  Should you have questions please feel free to contact anyone at the credit union.
